Kim Link, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a tenured associate professor in the School of Nursing and Allied Health and Co-Director of the Institute for Rural Health at Western Kentucky University. She has been a practicing psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner since 2006 and a full-time educator since 2012. Dr. Link earned her MSN from Vanderbilt University in 2006 and her DNP from Western Kentucky University in 2016. Dr. Link is currently involved in a variety of research projects involving the health and wellness of populations across the state of Kentucky, including several projects focused on rural health and underserved populations. She enjoys spending time with her family and 2 miniature dachshunds, along with exercising and being in the outdoors.
